Def Jam 2 goes Gold
Def Jam: Fight for NY has gone gold and is set to hit store shelves on September 20th for all consoles.
September 20th is the magical day that hip hop and brawling fans have been waiting for. Def Jam: Fight for NY will be released for the PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube consoles for a retail price of $49.99.
Def Jam: Fight for NY is the 'sequal' to Def Jam: Vendetta, the fighting game that pits hip hop artists against eachother in the ring. Fight for NY takes a more open approach, giving more of a mixed martial arts feel than the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) style that the original game possessed. Combining kickboxing, wrestling, martial arts, street fighting, and submissions, Fight for NY promises to feed the need of anyone looking to shut their friends up.
