Rumour: Multiplayer Metroid?
According to IGN, Metroid Prime 2 may feature a multiplayer mode that was not found in Metroid Prime, as well as a deep single player experience. It has been said that Retro Studios have been working on a multiplayer mode since the first one was finished.
Details are not concrete, but it maybe 2 or 4 player split-screen (maybe even LAN). One source even commented that you may be able to assume the roles of Samus, the heroine in the game.
Remember, these are only rumours, but multiplayer mode is still a high possibility. More details will be revealed once May's Electronic Gaming Expo 2004 begins.
